Lab-Flex® Q Family

Florida RF Labs has launched its Next Generation Lab-Flex® Q cable assemblies. This product line has gone through extensive qualification testing in order to validate today’s rigorous application requirements. With over 40 miles of cable assemblies in Space and product on over 150 Satellite applications, Florida RF Labs is a world leader in today’s Space market. Lab-Flex® Q assemblies are of the lowest loss ePTFE insulation, and constructed with materials which meet the outgassing requirements of NASA/ESA when tested per ASTM E595. The outer jackets use an ETFE material for maximum (> 100MRad) radiation resistance.

The Assembly Advantage

One advantage of using Lab-Flex® Q cables is the consistant and robust cable to connector termination utilizing solder sleeves. The assembly process including soldering is performed in a controlled environment, our facility is equiped with an "In House" real-time radiographic (X-ray) machine for solder joint verification. In our high rel test lab we can validate all requirements needed for Engineering Models (EM) and Flight Models (FM).
